Workshop Overview: 

This workshop will offer participants a model of group supervision that has been developed and implemented over 10 years within a public child welfare agency.

This model is relevant for a wide-range of settings and disciplines.

The skills involved and facilitation techniques will be discussed and illustrated through the use of a specific framework for organizing and analyzing information toward continuous assessment, planning and decision making.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Build knowledge of the supervisor as facilitator of group process.
  • Develop an understanding of how information can be organized and analyzed within a specified framework.
  • Identify research for practice application and critical thinking skills.
